Indigo Power brings together a unique team of highly experienced individuals with a corporate background evolving from major multinational organisations covering many years of experience in the coatings and electrical power transmission industries. It commenced its activities in the specialised field of providing HVIC solutions in 2003 by combining its core competence and knowledge of both coating applications and high voltage power transmission lines and substations.
Through its association with a specialist division of Corus Group, it strategically positioned itself to promote the concept of HVIC not only for sub-stations but more specifically for new and existing high voltage transmission lines by offering turn-key solutions in the supply and application of HVIC coatings.
Now, Indigo Power is established as an independent solution driven company having taken over the HVIC business from Corus Group including ongoing business, personnel and equipment.
Additionally, Indigo Power has interest in other areas of the power sector especially related to renewable energy such as wind and solar power. Indigo Power is also engaged in the field of specialist anti-corrosion coatings.

HVIC BUSINESS EXPERIENCE
- Commenced High Voltage Insulator Coating (HVIC) business in association with Corus in 2003 and have developed significant turnover and awareness of the product benefits with major utilities.
- Completed many overhead line (OHL) projects in the Middle East.
- Successfully completed numerous substation applications in Tunisia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi and India.
- We have successfully coated in excess of 500,000 insulator discs in Qatar for various projects for the state utility Kahramaa where the HVIC solution has been adopted, saving considerable costs on projects, and ongoing savings will accrue as no water washing will be required.
